Courtney Walsh express concerns over Fizz’s injury

Bangladesh interim head coach Courtney Walsh has expressed his concerns regarding the injury inflicted upon Mustafizur Rahman during the Indian Premier League.
The left-handed pacer received a blow on his foot while he was fielding off his own bowling against Rishabh Pant in Mumbai Indians’ last league game against Delhi Daredevils. It was later in an X-ray and CT-scan that the Cutter Master had suffered from a hairline fracture.
As a result, he had to be excluded from Bangladesh’s T20I series against Afghanistan and Courtney Walsh thinks that Mustafizur should be made fitter as this is the second time he returned injured from the IPL.
"His injury is a cause of concern. The second time he has come back from IPL with an injury. We got to make him fitter and stronger. He is young and talented. It (Rahman pulling out) was frustrating because we did not know about the injury," he told PTI.

He also made it clear that Bangladesh bowlers have been asked to communicate thoroughly about their “issues” to the authority.
"Anyway, going forward it has been made clear that all bowlers communicate their issues to the right channel. At the end of the day, the player has to own the responsibility because you are playing for two different teams," Walsh added.
Bangladesh will take on Afghanistan later today as the three-match T20I series is set to begin in Dehradun.
