India’s limited overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma has come out to praise Afghanistan spin-duo of Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Rashid Khan of Afghanistan’s first Test against India.

The Mumbai Indians captain believes that the pair will be a force to be reckoned with in the longest format of the game due to their innate control of the ball. He also added that if the pitch supports them, they can be devastating.

“I think Rashid and Mujeeb will be a force in Test cricket. Both of them have so much control over where they want to pitch the ball and if the pitch has anything to offer, they will be dangerous,” he said.

Sharma was, however, confident that India have the batsmen that would be able to negate the dangers produced by the prolific duo.

“We have capable batsmen who can handle spin well. But it will be a challenge for our batsmen to face their spin.”

Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman had a great Indian Premier League where their cunny bowling caused a lot of problems for the batsmen. The duo are currently preparing to take on Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series that begins from the 3^rd of June and ends on the 7^th of the same month.
