Azhar Ali says Pakistan want to play attacking cricket against England

Pakistan batsman Azhar Ali has stated that the Pakistan bowlers are going to England to attack the English batsmen with their aggressive bowling. Pakistan are set to face in England in a two-match series that begins from the 24th of May.
They played Ireland a few days ago and while they might have won it with ease in the end, there were some headaches throughout the course of the game. Meanwhile, Ali stated that good bowlers make the best use of the early summer conditions and Pakistan have that in abundance.
“Good bowlers always take advantage of early-summer conditions and we have good bowlers,” said Azhar, quoted The Guardian.
As a result, he wants the team to play attacking cricket and target taking 20 English wickets over the course of each Test.

“That’s the way we’re thinking. We want to play attacking cricket, we want to take 20 wickets. That’s why we are going with five bowlers and hopefully this side will do well,” he added.
Ali then spoke regarding the fitness of strike bowler Mohammed Amir, revealing that the left-handed pacer is comfortable and has been doing his rehab for the last couple of days.
“Overall we’re happy with the preparation we’ve had and hopefully that will transfer to the Tests against England. Amir is fine. He bowled very well against Ireland and in the last couple of days he’s been doing his rehab and also some bowling and he’s quite comfortable.”
The first Test will be played at the Lord’s from the 24th of May while the second match will commence from the 1st of June.
