Bangladesh a lot of games but with a big twist

According to the International Cricket Council’s Future Tour Programme, Bangladesh are set to play in 157 matches over the course of the next four years. The Tigers are allotted to play in two Tests against the Aussies, who only recently canceled a Test series against Bangladesh on the grounds of lack of commercial viability.
Bangladesh’s 157 matches is only matched by Australia, India, South Africa and England. While this might look like a great opportunity for the Tigers to bridge the gap between them and the top teams, it has to be noted that the Tigers, according to the FTP, only have 26 matches against the aforementioned four teams.
Out of those 26 matches, only 8 are Test matches and the Tigers will have to wait until after March of 2023 to play a Test match in England. Against South Africa, they have no scheduled T20I games in this FTP as they have been allotted only three ODI and two Test matches against the Proteas.

However, they play slightly more games against India as they have to play the Men in Blue in three ODIs and T20Is each and four Tests against the number one-ranked team in the format.
It can be easily inferred that Bangladesh’s common opponents over the next four years are going to be West Indies and Zimbabwe. The Tigers will have to play 33 matches against the Caribbean outfit and 28 matches against Zimbabwe in the timeframe.
Meanwhile, a combined total of 27 matches are scheduled against Ireland and Afghanistan while they will meet Pakistan, Sri Lanka and New Zealand 10, 11 and 22 times, respectively.
