ZC promise to clear outstanding player wages

After the players warned to “review their availability for selection” following their wages not being paid by the board, Zimbabwe Cricket have promised them to pay their outstanding dues by July 25 – which is exactly a month from the deadline set by the players.
As a result, this could perhaps spoil their participation in tri-nation series against Australia and Pakistan next month as the tournament is touted to take place between 28th June and the 8th of July.
Newly-appointed ZC consultant Vince van der Bijl revealed the board’s commitment of paying "all outstanding monies up to your June salary by 25 July and July salary by end of July" in a letter addressed to the players and seen by ESPNCricinfo.

The letter further added that the money could be paid even before the set date as the timeline, in their words, is a “conservative” one. It must be noted that the ZC are set to get their payout from the ICC in July.
Even after making such a claim, the players are not happy about it as according to ESPNCricinfo, some players consider the proposed plan as “unacceptable”.
Meanwhile, in another statement from Titan Law, a firm that represents the Zimbabwe stars, have established that the players’ association, which was dispersed in 2015, has been reformed.
