Mustafizur Rahman knows the weakness of Andre Russell

Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahman is aware of Andre Russell’s Achilles heel, according to Rohit Sharma. Speaking at an event, Rohit Sharma translated the words of Mustafizur Rahman as he stated that the Cutter Master came to know of Russell’s weakness while he was a net bowler for Bangladesh.
During IPL 2016, the left-handed pacer, then playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad, not only bowled Andre Russell via a vicious yorker but also made him taste sand as the big West Indian fell flat on the pitch. The reason he could put him in such a state was due to his previous experience while bowling to Russell as a net bowler when West Indies visited Bangladesh.
"What he [Mustafizur] is saying is he was a net bowler and West Indies national cricket team were touring Bangladesh and Andre Russell happened to come in front of him and face him. So he was trying to bowl those yorkers to him and he saw him struggling. So that is how he knew that he struggles to yorkers because he's got a huge backlift. He explored his weakness there and h tried here, used it against him and it worked for him.”

While he might not have featured for Mumbai since April 24, Rohit Sharma seemed visibly impressed by the youngster. There is still a chance for the Fizz to be in the starting XI for Mumbai in their final and most important league game against Delhi Daredevils.
