Dhaka Dynamites Afghanistan opener Hazratullah Zazai said that he had developed his big hitting ability on the back of his self-confidence.
Zazai provided some much-needed entertainment on what was otherwise a dull day through a stunning assault as he came out all guns firing to strike sixes at will with his opening partner Sunil Narine taking a backseat initially.
Zazai departed for a 41-ball 78 while the openers put on 116 for the opening wicket to give Dynamites a start they had wanted despite the pitch hogging all the attention.

‘I don’t have any secrets. I just have believed in myself and my shots. When I was doing practice, all the time I was hitting sixes,’’ Zazai told reporters after the match.
‘’The important thing is just to belief in myself,’’ he said.
‘’The captain and coach gave me the plan and I just followed the plan. They gave me the freedom and that’s why I can have done well,’’ he said.
Zazai, who idolized Chris Gayle for his big hitting ability, admitted that the wicket was not an easy one and that he waited for his time to come.
‘’The wicket was not easy. It was difficult but I was in good form that’s why I can hit the sixes. If it is in my reach I can easily hit many areas for sixes,’’ said the Afghan adding that he is looking forward to get him promoted in the ODI’s as well.
‘‘I just tried to make myself ready for ODIs also,’’ he said adding that he is eyeing to get him selected for World Cup.
