Windies skipper Rovman Powell said on Thursday that they are not taking anything for granted against Bangladesh as they are all set to take on the host in the series deciding third ODI at Sylhet on November 14.
Windies are on a high after the brought down the host in the second ODI at Dhaka after being defeated in the series opener at Dhaka before coming to Sylhet.
‘’We have to work on all three aspects of the game. One game doesn’t change the fact that we are still not batting well as a team. We still need to work on our bowling and fielding,’’ he said.

Powell added that they are eyeing to gun down their opponent with their pace unit though he is not too sure whether the wicket will suit their purpose or not.
“It is a fact: Bangladeshi don’t like fast bowling,’’ said Powell.
‘’We are definitely looking to exploit it. Hopefully tomorrow we can do that,’’ he said adding “It seems a like a typically Bangladeshi wicket – low and slow. So hopefully our team can adjust and get the win for West Indies.’’
‘’It is a beautiful stadium. I was amazed by the facilities. I am absolutely surprised. It looks very good,’’ he added.
Powell added that batsmen need to take the responsibility as there is a pattern none from the team managed to translate the start apart from the heroics of Shai Hope, who scored an unbeaten hundred in the second ODI.
“It has been a pattern, but not just for them, for the batting unit. They are getting starts but not carrying on. It is definitely we want to improve as a team. When you get going, just carry on and win games for West Indies.
“It is good that Hope got it in game to level the series. As a team, we are just looking for each and every batter to stand. It is just a collective effort as a team. We have to come together as a batting unit,’’ he concluded.
