Axar Patel replaces Jadeja for last two ODIs

Left-arm spinner Axar Patel, who was ruled out from the first three matches after spraining his left ankle during practice session, returned to the India squad for the last two one-day internationals (ODIs) against touring Australia after regaining his fitness. Ravindra Jadeja, who replaced injured Patel after initially given rest, was again left out as BCCI announced 15-member squad on Sunday. It was the only change in the squad as selectors has decided to stick with the winning combination. Jadeja did not feature in any of the first three ODIs too as the team gave wrist spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal chance in the series. India beat Australia by five wickets in the third ODI in Indore to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series. The fourth ODI is scheduled for September 28 in Bangalore and Nagpur will host the fifth and final ODI on October 1, 2017.
