Walsh to lead a special pace bowling camp

Bangladesh bowling coach Courtney Walsh will lead a special pace bowling camp which may start on Sunday. According to local media report, this decision has been taken by the Chief selector of BCB Minhazul Abedin Nannu. Nannu has informed that the list for Walsh’s campaign will contain 15 pacers. However, the exact date for the start of the camp will be announced after a discussion with Walsh. The main stream pacers of the national team are not included in the list. Bowlers who are not regular in the national team and also the under 19 players will be prioritized in this camp. Meanwhile ahead of Australia series the fitness and conditioning camp of the national team has already started on July 10 under coach Mario Villavarayan. Pacer Rubel Hossain, who underwent surgery is likely to join the 29-member preliminary squad in a few weeks. It should be noted that Head coach Chandika Hathurusingha will return to Bangladesh at the end of July.
