Bangladesh u-19 Cricket team’s captain, Saif Hasan has been ruled out from Bangladesh ‘A’ team’s lengthy series against Ireland ‘A’ due to a severe injury.
Bangladesh ‘A’ team are currently practicing in Sylhet ahead of a full series against Ireland ‘A’. Saif was also a part of this practice sessions as he was selected for the ‘A’ team.
During fielding practice session on Sunday afternoon, this young opener collided with Al-Amin and broke his nose. He was immediately taken to the hospital and after having a scan on his nose, it was learnt that he wouldn’t be able to play in the whole series.
The team manager and selector Habibul Bashar has confirmed this news. Saif Hasan is a promising superstar of Bangladesh and he’ll be a vital player for the Tigers in the upcoming u-19 World Cup.
The series between Bangladesh ‘A’ and Ireland ‘A’ will start from October 11 with the only 4-day match at the Sylhet International Stadium. Both the teams will then face each other in 5 ODIs on 17th, 19th, 21st, 24th and 26th October.
