After taking the necessary treatments in Singapore, the favorite face of Bangladesh Cricket arena, Khaled Mahmud Sujon is now fit enough to be back in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) Media Committee Chairman, Jalal Yunus has confirmed this news on Saturday.
While talking to the media, he said, “Shujon is quite well now. He has been released from hospital and is now staying in hotel. He will soon return to the country.”
But Khaled Mahmud won’t be able to do his duties as a manager in the upcoming two-match Test series against Australia and he needs proper rest for few days.
To be noted, Sujon has been suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes for a long time and two weeks ago, he became severely sick. He was admitted to the ICU unit in the United Hospital immediately.
Current team manager of Bangladesh cricket team remained unconscious for more than 24 hours. Later on, his condition started to improve a bit and then BCB decided to send him to Singapore for better treatment. He was then admitted in the Gleneagles Hospital of Singapore.
