Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to appoint a spin bowling coach for the national cricket team before the upcoming Australia series.
BCB’s Cricket Operation Committee chairman Akram Khan ensured this on Sunday to the news media. He also gave a hint that the coach is most likely to be an Asian.
‘We have already talked with some coaches before. Now we are talking with one or two coaches more. We are trying to appoint a new spin bowling coach as soon as possible. The whole process of appointing a spin coach is going on at a full pace. If everything is perfect then we can finalize new spin coach within two or three days’, said Akram on Sunday.
