Pakistan announced Squad for Emerging Asia Cup in Bangladesh

The National Selection Committee headed by Inzamam ul Haq has announced 15-member Pakistan U-23 squad for the ACC U-23 Emerging Cup 2017 to commence from March 26 to April 2, 2017 in Bangladesh. 

Pakistan U-23 Team:

  2. Jaahid Ali
  3. Imran Butt
  4. Haris Sohail (VC)
  5. Khushdil Shah
  6. Hussain Talat
  7. Mohammad Rizwan (C – WK)
  8. Bilal Asif
  9. Osama Mir
  10. Zafar Gohar
  11. Sameen Gul
  12. Ahmed Bashir
  13. Ghulam Mudassar
  14. Ammad Butt
  15. Hammad Azam.

Eight Asian teams will participate in this tournament who are divided in two groups. The groups stand like this:

Group A: India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Malaysia.

Group B: Bangladesh, Pakistan, Hong Kong and Nepal.

First phase of the tournament will be held in four venues of Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar. They are: Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) and MA Aziz Stadium (MAAS) in Chittagong, and Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium (SKICS)-1 and SKICS-2 in Cox’s Bazar.
emergingThe first match of Bangladesh will be against Hong Kong on 27th March at SKICS-1. Top two teams from both groups will play the semifinals at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on April 1 and the final will be held on March 3 in the same venue.
