Heavy cloudy and windy day with green wicket couldn’t stop Tamim from playing cut, pull and drive gloriously and scoring on a ODI mood.
Tamim lost his opening partner Imrul kayes pretty early in the morning. But he was playing with the kiwi captain Kane Williamson’s mind.
He faced only 50 deliveries for his whirlwind 56, which included 11 boundaries. Most of them against no.1 kiwi bowler Trent Boult.
Though Boult got his man with a moving ball which came back sharply and caught Tamim in front of the wicket. But Bangladesh got off to a very good start because of Tamim’s quick fire half-ton.
