Limited overs series between New Zealand and Bangladesh has been ended well for the home side but not so well for the visiting side. After losing the whole series by 6-0, Bangladesh are more frustrated for their injured players.
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, the skipper has injured himself again during the match. He was bowling to the star of the match, CJ Anderson who was playing with much power. Anderson hit a ball off Mashrafe that directly came to captain’s hand. Mashrafe tried to stop the ball and he succeeded. But, the shot was so powerful that made Mashrafe injured and he couldn’t bowl after that blow.
In the post match presentation ceremony, Mashrafe said, “I have to scan first and then see what happens. Obviously, it was difficult. Hopefully, I’ll be fine.”
Meanwhile, Imrul Kayes also had some injury concerns during the match and so he couldn’t bat at all. He was doing the fielding in the boundary line. He was unable to catch one high ball and had ended up diving over the sideline signage.
Both the players have injury worries and hopefully they will be fully fit soon.
