Bangladeshi fast bowler Rubel Hossain helped tiger’s to get over the line in the first ODI against Brendon McCullum’s New Zealand back in 2013.
Rubel took six-for including a hat-trick and helped Bangladesh to take 1-0 lead over New Zealand. Match was rain hit and the break didn’t do any harm for the home side.
Rubel removed well set Corey Anderson with a slower delivery and surprised McCullum with extra pace and bounce at the very next ball of the 24th over.
Kiwi all rounder Jimmy Neesham gloved one to the wicket keeper and suddenly the game changed in the 24th over. Bangladesh won that match by 43 runs (D/L method) and later the series 3-0.
