India Vs West Indies: Rain Stops the Day 3 Play

West Indies Trial by 246 runs

The third day of the third test between Indian and West Indies have been called off without a single ball bowled. Overnight  thunder storms and incessant rain washed out the third day play.

In the second day West Indies ended the day on high note after reaching to 107 for only one wicket. They are yet to trial by 246 runs with 9 wickets in hand.

Opener KC Brathwaite (53) and Darren Bravo (18) were at the crease at the draw of stumps. Leon Johnson’s wicket was the only success for team India.

Previously batting first India scored 253 runs losing all the wickets. Opener Lokesh Rahul made a half century but then the rest of the batsmen failed to score runs for the team.

It was the partnership of Ashwin and Saha which put India in a decent situation. Both the batsmen got their century. Ashwin was the top scorer for team India, he made 118 runs. On the other hand Saha score 104 runs.

West Indies had a great time with the ball; specially the duo of Cummins and Joseph; both of them picked up three wickets each. Gabriel and Chase had two wickets each.
