‘Magician’ Mustafizur’s one year in International cricket

It’s been a year for the ‘magician’ pacer Mustafizur’s journey to the International arena and has been performing brilliantly in all three formats of the game.


The lanky pacer starts his international career in T20I format with a wide ball.But as the game proceeds the young lefty pacer has shown his cutter variation to get rid of Pakistan’s most experienced batsman in with a deceiving cutter.After that, the world would know who effective those cutters for the debutant pacer.



The fast bowler usually uses cutters to deceive batsman but the 20-year-old pacer of Bangladesh, Mustafizur Rahman who is still using the cutter as his lethal weapon with three variations. The slower, quicker and the cutter yorker.



Mustafizur made his ODI debut against India at the home of cricket, Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla Stadium and floors the mighty India’s batting line up with his cutters with ease.He bagged 11 wickets in his first two ODI matches. He picked up 13 wickets in the 3 matches bilateral ODI series and became the player of the series.



His first victim in the debut test match was Proteas stylish batsman Hashim Amla and he bowled magnificently in the Debut test against South Africa. However, he took 4 wickets in total in the first match and the second match against Proteas washed out due to rain.



Mustafizur’s magic continues in the international cricket. ‘The Fizz’ also bowled superbly in the World T20 in India and played only 3 matches due to injury. The deceiver bagged 9 wickets in the tournament  and his best bowling figure is 5/22 against the Kiwis at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens Stadium.


The mystery pacer has played 24 international matches so far for his country and bagged 52 wickets in all three format of the game.



As he came into the spotlight with his awesome bowling skills to the cricket loving nations, different franchise team wants him to include in their playing XI. England’s club Sussex club signed contacts with him during the Asia Cup 2016 tournament in Bangladesh. 



After that, He was roped in by Sunrisers Hyderabad for a huge sum of money and he is now showing his bowling charisma in the lucrative IPL.



His last bowling performance against Kings XI Punjab was quite amazing. He considered only 9 runs in his 4 overs bowling spell and claimed 2 wickets.



Different medias all over the world has praised Mustafizur’s bowling performance and now Mustafizur is a quite familiar face in the International Cricket.



The Wonderboy is still a misery to the batsmen all over the world and his hard working and cricket brain has made him one of the greatest players that the world has ever seen.



It is said that ‘morning shows the day’. So, we are all eagerly waiting for his glorious achievement in the upcoming future.



The lanky pacer makes bowling looks so easy that it’a walk in the park for the wonder boy from Satkhira.
