Asia Cup 2016 Point Table

Bangladesh is hosting the Asia Cup 2016 tournament for the second consecutive time, and for the first time ever the competition between the Asian cricket teams is being played in Twenty20 format.

 

 

India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are the four teams that had already qualified for the tournament, where the United Arab Emirates has become the fifth team to participate.

 

 

The United Arab Emirates got the better of three other teams — Afghanistan, Hong Kong and Oman — to finish with three wins in as many matches in the qualifying round and enter the main tournament.

 

 

All five teams will face each other race to top points table and qualify for the final.  The teams are leading by Mahendra Singh Dhoni (India), Lathis Malinga (Sri Lanka), Shahid Afridi (Pakistan), Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (Bangladesh), Amjad Javed (United Arab Emirates).

 

All of the teams are played there initial round matches. Bangladesh going to face India at Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on 6th February at the final stage of Asia Cup Twenty20 2016.
