BCB High Performance (HP) has ended their rain-affected UK tour with a defeat in the seventh and final match against Warwickshire Second XI. Four matches out of the seven matches were washed out due to rain. BCB HP have won two matches and lost one in the tour. First match between BCB HP and Nottinghamshire Second XI was washed out due to rain before Nazmul Hossain Shanto’s century guided HP to a total of 305 for 6 in 50 overs. In reply Nottinghamshire were on 195 for 6 in 37 overs before rain interrupted the play. BCB HP sealed victory in the second match against Nottinghamshire Second XI thanks to Nazmul’s successive ton. HP team chased down the target of 295 with 6 wickets in hand. Nazmul remained not out on 144 while Al Amin scored the second highest 84 runs. Third match of the tour between BCB HP Northamptonshire Academy was abandoned due to rain. Batting first Northamptonshire were all out for 262. HP team scored 102 for 4 in 21.4 overs before rain interrupted the play. HP team won by 25 runs in the fourth match of the tour against Warwickshire Second XI. Batting first HP were bowled out 200 in 45 overs. Nazmul was the top scorer with 87 off 100 balls. In reply Warwickshire were all out for 175 runs and lost the match by 25 runs. Syed Khalid, Abu Hider, Mahadi Hasan and Ebadot Hossain all bagged 2 wickets each. 5th match between BCB HP and Warwickshire CCC 2nd XI was abandoned out due to rain. Rain also washed out the sixth match between BCB HP and Worcestershire Academy. HP lost the seventh and final match of the tour with a big margin of 170 runs. Chasing Warwickshire Second XI’s total of 332, HP were all out for 163 runs in 35.1 overs. Nazmul struck another half-century but it was not enough for HP. 4th Match: BCB HP : 200/10 in 45 overs (Nazmul 87, Al Amin 37, Tanbir Hayder 31; Sing 5/40) Warwickshire Second XI : 175/10 in 43.1 overs (Thompson 56, Banks 41, Pollock 14; Khalid 2/23, Abu Hider 2/27, Mahadi 2/31 ) Result : BCB HP won by 25 runs 7th Match: Warwickshire Second XI : 332/8 in 47 overs (Umeed 95, Hose 79, Pollock 45; Mahadi 2/35, Khalid 2/54, Shuvashis 2/59) BCB HP : 163/10 in 35.1 overs (Target 334) (Nazmul 57, Saifuddin 45, Mahadi 20; Poysden 3/15, Davison 2/23, Sing 1/24) Result : Warwickshire Second XI won by 170 runs Courtesy: BCB
