Mahmudullah to leave Dhaka today A-A+
The veteran all-rounder of Bangladesh cricket team Mahmudullah Riyad will leave Dhaka today to play for Jamaica Tallawahs in Caribbean Premiere League (CPL). Bangladesh cricket board (BCB) has already given him No Objection Certificate (NOC) yesterday evening. BCB announced the 14 men test squad for the first Test against Australia on Saturday where Riyad was overlooked. There is a less chance for him to get the chance in the second test as well. So BCB has issued Mahmudullah the NOC till September 10. Mahmudullah is mainly considered as the replacement of another Bangladeshi all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan who played three matches earlier this month for Jamaica. Shakib has returned home last week to join the practice session with Bangladesh team ahead of Australia series.
